Working on a Story

Sorry of the lack of posts.  It's been pretty busy around the house and additionally, I've been working on a Creeple story!  Here's a panel from the story... it's a bit of a mystery story.  More to come soon!

Portraiture

I like how this guy seems to be standing for an old fashioned portrait of some sort.  I should probably do a painting of this one.

Dude and Cage

Huh.  Not sure the critter in the cage is reading so well.  I like the guy, though.

Business Meeting

 

What could they be talking about?  No doubt these executives are in a high level discussion concerning the market pressures influence the revenues of their normally lucrative industry of Brick Breaking.

Street Corner

Just a typical street corner in Creton, the town that all the Creeple live in.

Big Dude

I was shooting for some serious scale with this one... I wanted this guy to look large rather than the other figure look small.  Did I succeed? 

Up the hill

Have a look at the house up the hill.

Squidhead.

Too Cthulhu?  Who would boo Cthulhu? Only a foolu.

Egghead.

I'm not sure if this guy is being thoughtful or if he needs to use his hand to hold up his extra-large head.

She looks prim and proper, yes?

Sometimes when drawing Creeple things I focus on the environment they live in, as with this drawing.

Turboscan!

This drawing was scanned using an iPhone app called Turboscan.  Not a bad job at all, and more convenient that using my wireless printer that no longer can be connected to.  The original scan file was quite a bit larger than this.
